Title: Campus Safety and Security Reporting and Disclosures
Description: Title IV institutions are required by the Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act (P.L. 101-542) to fulfill many campus safety and security reporting and disclosure requirements. Institutions must collect, report and disseminate crime data to the campus community. Many of these obligations are met through the Annual Security Report and the Campus Safety and Security Survey.
Institutions must publish and distribute an Annual Security Report which contains information about campus security policies and crime statistics. It is distributed annually to all current students and employees.
The Campus Safety and Security Survey is a web-based survey used to collect the statistical crime data from the institution's Annual Security Report.
