Description: Institutions use this application to apply to receive federal Perkins Program Improvement funds. The Perkins Local Annual grant funds provide the eligible subgrantee the opportunity to improve their occupational education programs by supporting program improvement, curriculum development, assessment/evaluation, professional development, and support services to students and staff.
Colleges and universities must also acknowledge that the Evaluation Schedule will be updated on November 1 when the Program Inventory is updated. It provides an incremental plan that extends over the five-year period represented in the Michigan State Plan. This plan should serve as a guide to use when developing your annual plan.
Each institution is responsible for the annual review and update of their 5-Year Plan/Long Range Plan prior to submitting/uploading the plan into the Local Annual grant application. Each institution’s plan should be aligned with the State Plan. http://www.michigancc.net/perkins/stateplan.pdf.
