Description: The Michigan Community College Activities Classification Structure is a set of categories and related definitions, which allows users to examine the operation of an institution as they relate to the accomplishment of that institution's objectives.
ACS 6: Institutional Administration Activity consists of those activities carried out to provide for both the day-to-day functioning and the long-range viability of the institution as an operating organization. The overall objective of the Institutional Administration Activity is to provide for the institution's organizational effectiveness and continuity.
Community colleges are required by law to submit an Audited Financial Statement and Management Letter to various state agencies by November 15 each fiscal year.

Community colleges will submit ACS data on the michigancc.net site this year (16-17 collection.) Next year (17-18 collection) they will submit these data in a new ACS application being developed and managed by CEPI.
